‘O Mangueiro’ is Portuguese for ‘Mango Grove’. The original Portuguese name of our guest house gives you an indication that Goa was a Portuguese colony until 1961. A mango grove also gives you a true feeling of the picturesque setting for Mango Grove Guest House as it is surrounded by old mango trees and various other palms and trees.

On the ground floor of our large guest house we offer 10 individual en-suite rooms which are ideal for one or two persons because there are twin beds. Each room has its own fully tiled bathroom with shower, hand basin and European-style toilet.

Benaulim Fishing & Holiday Village
Benaulim is an atmospheric fishing and rice-farming village situated between coconut groves and paddy fields on the main coast road from Colva to Mobor.
It is an ideal place to unwind on holiday and the seafood in the restaurants and beach shacks is superb and very good value for money. The long beach with its brilliant white sand, churning surf, beach shacks, traditional outrigger fishing boats and glorious sunsets is breathtaking. The local people are very friendly and helpful.
You can enjoy relaxing and eating in the many beach shacks, cafes, and various types of restaurants that offer “multi-cuisine” food such as traditional Goan and Indian Dishes, Chinese, Thai, Nepalese and even Italian specialities. In the restaurants that serve locally-caught fresh fish, you can see and pick the fish that they have to offer such as the popular pomfret, kingfish, and red snapper. There is also a Walls Ice cream parlour in the village. Some of the beach shacks and restaurants offer live music and other live entertainment.
